Goodbye 2011 & Hello 2012
I know an end of the year summary type thing is normally supposed to be done before the year ends but hey, this is my blog I can do what I want! ;)
2011:
It definitely wasn’t the greatest year by any means but if I had to sum it up I’d say it was a year of growth and learning for me. I finished my first year of college and started the second. I spent majority of 2011 unemployed and desperately searching for a job which was one of the most stressful and difficult processes of my life. Yet, after many months, I not only found a job, I found a job I LOVE. For the past few weeks of 2011 I’ve been working as a member of the Portland Trail Blazers’ retail staff which involves working both games and other events at the RG. It has been so amazing and everyone I’ve worked with have been so great, helpful and awesome! It really is the first job where I have looked forward to going to work. I am super excited for what 2012 will bring with this job :) I had one of the best birthdays yet again going down to California for a road trip merely weeks after being able to go to Sacramento, CA for the second year in a row for a Blazers @ Kings game! Hopefully a new tradition I will be able to repeat again in 2012! I started a new project with some great friends called the Blazers Ladies Club where we recorded podcasts and wrote blogs about the Blazers. Something I definitely hope we can continue! All in all, I learned a lot in 2011 about myself, my friends and where I want to go in life.
2012:
We are one day in and so far 2012 isn’t looking all that different but hey, who am I to judge after one day. I was able to ring in the new year with some great people, and have a lot to look forward to this year like the impending zombie apocalypse? so here’s to 2012 being awesome!

Resolutions:
So far my resolutions are pretty simple: MAKE MORE ART!
I want to take at least one photo a day, film and edit more, keep up with my Blazers blog and also blog more here and over on OurThirdSpace.tumblr.com pretty simple and so far so good!

Creepy, dark, church.

Jasmine looking tired, pissed…or possessed? Or all three?

Lastly, finally got my book/movie case organized and situated! I’ve gone to Powell’s way too many times for my bank account but that means many new books needed a home :)
